Optional Enchants
by Binaris00
Optional Enchants adds a set of extra enchantments for weapons, bows, tools and armor, each one configurable on or off from the config file.
What it does
The enchantments cover combat and utility. End Harm V and Nether Bane V raise damage against End and Nether mobs, and both are incompatible with the Sharpness, Smite and Bane of Arthropods enchantments they overlap with. Wither Aspect II, Poison Aspect II and Slowness Aspect II each apply a status effect on hit, and Wither Aspect II cannot be combined with the vanilla aspect enchantment. Fragile Strike II inflicts weakness, Hungering Strike II and Hunting III target livestock, and Ice Bow III slows enemies struck by its arrows.
Utility enchantments include Skyward Shoot II, which levitates the target, and Gravity Curse II, which randomly applies levitation during combat. Breaking Curse II makes items wear out faster. Magnet-style retrieval lets players pull items from a distance, and that one cannot be paired with AutoSmelt. Each enchantment can be turned off in the config, so a server can keep only the set it wants.
Optional Enchants is released under the MIT License and is open source. It requires Fabric API, runs on Fabric only, and is published for Minecraft 1.19.4 – 1.20.4 with 5 release versions, the latest being 1.1.2 for 1.20.4. Installation covers the server and each player's game.
