NoFigura
by Stranik2504
With NoFigura installed, players can use Figura avatar models on Fabric, a port of the Figura mod updated for the 1.21.x and 26.x game versions.
What it does
NoFigura brings the Figura avatar system to Fabric, letting a player attach a custom model to their character and run scripts that control it. The port covers the 1.21.5 – 26.3 game versions, and it includes support for Figura features added in version 0.1.6, such as the permission system that lets players decide what an avatar may do. Figura's Lua API remains available for players who want to write their own scripts.
The project rewrites parts of the original Figura code to make it more unified and easier to maintain. Its version numbers follow the original Figura mod, so the release line can be matched against Figura 0.1.5 and 0.1.6. A full build is published for each of the ten release versions, starting from 1.21.5 and ending at 26.3.
Fabric API is required, and Geckolib is an optional dependency. NoFigura runs only on the client, so servers do not need it and players join without installing it. The mod is released under a custom license and is not open source; public links exist for the source code, issue tracker and wiki.
Key features
Avatar models
Custom Blockbench models can be loaded as avatars and shown on the player's character in game.
Lua scripting
The Lua API lets an avatar run its own scripts, so a model can react to movement, input and other events.
Model path autocomplete
Model paths are completed as they are typed, which makes it quicker to reference parts of a model in scripts.
Permission system
Avatars request permissions, and the player decides which of those they grant.
Editor extension
A Figura extension for VS Code can be found and installed from the editor's extension browser.
