Night Auto Config

Night Auto Config lets Auto Config, now embedded in Cloth Config, save settings in any Night Config format through a serializer it supplies.
What it does
The mod supplies a NightConfigSerializer class, which satisfies the serializer requirement Auto Config places on config classes. Mod developers can pick any of the formats Night Config offers and use the serializer the same way as other common serializers, including alongside a PartitioningSerializer. Its serializer implementation is found at band.kessokuteatime.nightautoconfig.config.NightConfigSerializer, and the author provides runtime examples in the same package.
Night Auto Config is a library, so it is meant to be referenced by other mods rather than played alone. Developers using JitPack can pull it into a project, and the mod must also be declared as a dependency in the metadata of each mod that uses it. Its required dependencies are Cloth Config API and Fabric API. Builds cover 1.20 – 1.21.4 on Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt, and the code is under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, so the project is open source.

Who it’s for: Mod developers who already use Auto Config through Cloth Config and want a Night Config format for their settings. Players who only install finished mods do not need this library unless one of those mods requires it.

Evening Star Lib is an open source library under the MIT License that runs on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 1.20.1 – 26.3, and either side can run it while neither needs it. Kinecraft is also open source under the MIT License and covers Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 1.16.5 – 1.21.5, with the same optional setup on either side. FASTJSON2 Serializer for YACL is open source under the MIT License as well, for 1.20.1 – 26.3, and it differs from this mod by using JSON rather than Night Config formats.
