Pufferfish is a Fabric and Quilt client mod that adds HUD tweaks, a hotbar redesign and camera angle locks for Minecraft 1.19.2.
What it does
Pufferfish changes several parts of the client interface. It can move the hotbar, show the health, experience and food bars along the bottom, and place a vertically aligned side panel for status values. The HUD and chat display get visual effects such as colorable text, and a flash effect can accompany a screenshot.
The mod also includes a set of camera controls. Keybindings lock the pitch and yaw angles, flip the pitch, turn the view by 90 degrees and snap to the nearest axis. Some features are marked deprecated by the author, and a few behaviors were removed in later versions because of inconsistencies. The code is released under the Apache License 2.0, so it is open source. Servers do not need it; each player installs it for their own game. Files exist for 1.19.2 on Fabric and Quilt, with v0.0.1 as the latest build from 2022-11-21.
