New Lodestone Recipe changes the crafting recipe for the Lodestone block, using the version introduced in snapshot 25w02a.

What it does

The mod replaces the Lodestone recipe with the one introduced in snapshot 25w02a. It is meant for players on older Minecraft releases who want the newer recipe without updating the whole game. The change is delivered as a data pack, so the recipe is applied by the world rather than by a loader-specific code path.

The server must run the mod for the recipe to apply, while players can leave it out. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and as a data pack, across 24 release versions 1.16 – 1.21.4 under a Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike 4.0 license, which is not open source.

If you're using older versions of minecraft such as 1.16 or 1.17 you will see that the datapack says that its made for a newer version of minecraft. This does not matter and the datapack will work as regular If there are any bugs/feature requests please DM 4_Square on discord
