Nerf Bone Meal

Nerf Bone Meal is a Fabric server mod that stops Bone Meal from working on crops and saplings and weakens the moss composting route.
What it does
Bone Meal no longer accelerates crops or saplings once the mod is installed on the server, so growing plants by hand takes the usual time. Composting moss items still produces Bone Meal, but each moss item yields only about a third of the amount that vanilla composting gives. Berry Bushes are left alone and keep their normal growth. The change also makes it impossible to build an automatic Bone Meal farm based on moss, since the output per unit is too low to run one.
The mod is aimed at survival servers where Bone Meal shortcuts would skip the pace of farming. It runs on the server alone, so players join without installing anything. The code is under the MIT License and open source, with the source code publicly available. Files are published for Fabric only, for seven game versions 1.19 – 1.20.1, and the latest build is 1.0.0 for 1.20.1, released 2023-07-04.

With this mod installed, Bone Meal can't be used on - Bamboo - Cocoa - Any crops - Kelp - Saplings - Berry Bushes Composting any moss items also only yields one third as much Bone Meal. This should make it impossible to create a fully automatic Bone Meal-farm using moss.
