More Tools (Polymer)
by Jong
With More Tools (Polymer) installed on a server, players gain hammers, excavators and saws that break several blocks at once.
What it does
The mod adds hammers, excavators and saws to Fabric servers. Each tool breaks blocks in a 3x3 pattern, so a single swing clears a wider patch of ground or wall. The Hammer Excavator and Vein Hammer variants add more reach: one covers a larger area, and the other breaks a whole ore vein in one pass. Trees can be felled in a single action, except the largest ones, and the same shovel-type resources, such as clay, can be gathered in bulk. Sneaking works as it does for the vanilla counterparts, so players can still place or break one block at a time.
Polymer is required for the textures and models to load on the client. The environment is server-side only, so players join without installing anything, and the server sends its custom textures through Polymer's AutoHost feature. Fabric API is required. The mod is published for Fabric only, across 24 release versions 1.20 – 26.3, and the code is open source under the MIT License. Players who want a preview before breaking blocks can install the mod on the client to see the gallery of effects.
Key features
Hammers and excavators
Hammers, excavators and saws break blocks in a 3x3 pattern rather than one at a time.
Tree felling
Trees are felled in one action, except very large trees, which keep their vanilla behavior.
Ore vein breaking
The Vein Hammer destroys a whole ore vein in one pass, saving time when mining large deposits.
Bulk shovel resources
Resources a shovel gathers, such as clay, can be collected in bulk with the matching tool.
Vanilla-style sneaking
Sneaking behaves as it does with the vanilla tools, so single-block breaking stays available.

How it compares
Only Hammers And Excavators and Only Excavators are closed-source mods for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, both needing client and server, under All rights reserved, with files for 1.19 – 26.3. HammersAddition also runs on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge with client and server, under All rights reserved, across 1.20.1 – 26.2. Fabric Hammers is open source under the MIT License and runs on Fabric alone for 1.20 – 1.20.4, but it still needs both sides. More Tools (Polymer) needs only the server, which makes it the only option here that players can join without installing anything.

What the author says
While sneaking, they will function like their vanilla counterparts instead. Some translations are also available, follow this link to see all supported languages. If you end up adding a language, I would appreciate if you could open an issue or pull request on GitHub, so that it can be made available for everybody.
