More Smeltable Items lets players smelt gold, iron, copper, diamond and quartz recipes they could not smelt before, so items that contain those metals can be recovered in a furnace.

What it does

The mod adds smelting recipes for many items that contain gold, iron, copper, diamond or quartz. Iron nuggets and iron ingots, gold nuggets, copper nuggets, copper ingots, copper blocks, waxed and oxidized copper blocks, and Nether quartz can all be smelted. Some crafted items such as rails made with iron, compasses, recovery compasses, flint steel, iron bars and smithing table pieces are included as well, so their metal can return through a furnace or blast furnace.

The mod runs on the server, and clients may install it too. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and a data pack variant exists. Builds cover game versions 1.21 – 26.3, and the latest file is 3.4.1+mod for 26.3, released on 2026-09-17. The code is released under All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
