More Commands
More Commands adds about twenty command tools that vanilla Minecraft leaves out, covering repeats, area effects, explosions, item drops and player permissions.
What it does
Several of the added commands target entities or players directly: health sets an entity's health, attack points an entity at a chosen target, and flight and build let an operator allow or forbid specific players to fly or build. Some commands need higher permission levels than others, so operators decide who can run them.
Other commands act on the world. The repeat command runs a command a given number of times, shape and cube run a command across a sphere or rectangular area, and explode creates an explosion of a chosen power. Drop and exporb summon items or experience orbs, lightning strikes the ground, falling block drops a chosen block, and clearitems removes dropped items from a dimension. A help command lists the abbreviations for the added commands.
The mod is published for Forge only, with a single build, 1.0.0 for 1.20.1, released on 2024-06-30. It runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it, and it is released under the MIT License, which means the mod is not open source.
Key features
Repeat and area commands
Repeat runs a command a set number of times, while shape and cube apply a command across a sphere or a rectangular volume.
Entity and player control
Health, attack, flight and build let operators change entity health, set attack targets, and permit or block flight and building for chosen players.
Item and world tools
Drop, exporb, lightning, falling block and clearitems summon items, experience, lightning and falling blocks, and remove dropped items.
Abbreviations and enchanting
Shorthand forms of existing commands are provided by abb, and abbhelp prints the full set, while randomenchant gives an entity's held item a randomly chosen enchantment.
