Modified Biome Source
by mahmudindev
Modified Biome Source is a server-side library for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge that lets a world generator draw its biomes from configured sources.
What it does
Modified biome sources are set up through configuration, and the library can filter the biomes it generates by biome tags. A custom Multi Noise biome source and a custom End biome source are included, so dimension terrain generators can use them. Fabric API is required, and the mods that require this one include TerraBlender, Badlands Biomes Dimension and Forest Biomes Dimension.
Each biome source accepts allow and deny lists, a biome tag field, a mod support setting and a fallback to vanilla biome sources. A configuration needs at least one optional setting besides the fallback. The mod support field has no effect until the matching compatibility mod is installed.
Because the environment is server-side only, players join without installing anything and only the server runs the library. Files target 1.20.1 – 26.2 across Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with the latest Forge build for 1.20.1 and the latest Fabric and NeoForge builds for 26.2. The code is public, and the code is not open source under a license; all rights are reserved.
