Minimal-Exchange brings back the transmutation-based design of the older exchange mods, built around a Transmutation Stone and a small set of utility items that work with Matter.
What it does
The mod centers on the Transmutation Stone and a handful of utility items that draw on Matter, a shared resource used to convert materials. Its stated approach is to revive features from earlier mods of this kind rather than copy one version closely, and to add ideas of its own. The author describes the project as early and prone to bugs.
Transmutation tables and regular armor and tools are left out on purpose, for balance reasons. The mod is NeoForge only and is published for 1.21.1. Installation covers the server and each player's game. The code is released under the MIT License and is open source, with a public source repository and issue tracker.
