Better Crafts
Better Crafts is a server-required mod that adds new recipes, including a mending book, an XP bottle, a repair anvil and an armor stand with arms.
What it does
Better Crafts extends the crafting system with extra recipes, several of them tied to items that the base game does not let players make. Recipes cover a mending book, an XP bottle, a repair anvil, a rotten flesh leather furnace and campfire route, and a plantation upgrade. Each recipe is a small change, so a world keeps its usual progression while gaining more ways to use materials it already has.
The mod is a server-side install: only the server needs the jar, and players connect without adding anything of their own. The server must run it, while players may leave it out. Better Crafts is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with builds for 1.20.5 – 1.21.11 and the latest file for 1.21.11. It is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. A data pack version is also available for servers that prefer datapack-based recipes.
