Better Plantations
Better Plantations is a server-side Food mod that changes how crops grow and are harvested, and it also ships as a data pack for servers.
What it does
The mod works on crop plantations and makes them better, with harvesting and replanting handled in one action. Replanting follows the same idea as RightClickHarvest, so breaking a plantation can clear a 5 by 5 area at once. A companion data pack covers the same plantation changes on servers that prefer datapacks over a mod install.
Installation starts with the mod itself on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt. The server must run the mod, while players may add it for the client side, so only the server strictly needs it. Files are published for 27 release versions, 1.18 – 1.21.11, and the latest file for every loader is 1.18+mod for 1.21.11, dated 2025-10-01. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source, and its issue tracker is public.
The author also lists related content from the same team: Better Crafts, Things Possible, Repair Anvil, Colored Apples and EdonMe Core. Simple Voice Chat Connections and uSlib are credited in the author text as well. These are separate projects and the page does not describe them further.
