MedievalWeapons
by Globox1997
Old but gold weapons: MedievalWeapons adds a set of medieval melee and utility weapons to Fabric worlds for 1.21.1, with a healing staff among them.
What it does
The mod adds weapons from a fan project based on a well-known fantasy game series, and the author credits all assets to the original creators. Each weapon has its own function: the double handed axe sweeps for basic area damage and can block, the longsword can block, the dagger deals extra damage while the player is sneaking or invisible, and the lance adds damage while the player rides a mount. The healing staff restores the player and creates an aura that supports nearby allies, the mace can stun an enemy, the rapier can make an enemy bleed, and the sickle harvests wheat in the manner of a scythe.
The mod is published for Fabric only, and the author has no plans for a Forge version. Its files cover 1.19.2, 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.21 and 1.21.1, and the latest build, 1.7.0+1.21.1, targets 1.21.1 and was released on 2026-09-21. The code is open source under the MIT License. Installation requires Cloth Config API and Fabric API, and the mod runs on the client and the server, so both sides need it.
Key features
Sweeping double handed axe
The double handed axe deals basic sweeping damage across an area and can be used to block attacks.
Healing staff with aura
The healing staff restores the player who wields it and creates a support aura that affects nearby allies.
Situational weapon effects
The dagger gains damage while sneaking or invisible, and the lance gains damage while riding.
Status effects on hit
The mace can stun an enemy and the rapier can make an enemy bleed, each on a chance basis.
Sickle for wheat
The sickle works like a scythe for harvesting wheat crops.

How it compares
Maulve's Scythes is open source under the MIT License, Fabric only, and covers 1.20 – 1.21.4 with client and server both needed. Mayhem targets only 1.21.1 on Fabric, runs on client and server, and is not open source. Longsword is also open source under the MIT License and Fabric only, with files for 1.20 – 1.20.4, but it runs on the server alone.
