Maptip shows a preview of a filled map inside its item tooltip, so the map's contents can be checked without opening it.

What it does

Hovering over a filled map in the inventory shows a preview of the map's actual content within a vanilla-style frame. Only the client draws the preview, so the mod is client-side only and servers do not need it. Maptip requires Balm and is released under the MIT License as open source. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across game versions 1.20.1 – 26.3.
