Magical Programming
by meep7377
Magical Programming lets players write spells in a custom language called SpellScript and run them from a magic wand on Fabric for 1.20.4.
What it does
The mod adds a magic wand that runs spells written in SpellScript, a custom programming language built for the mod. A spell can print text, apply a force along the direction the player is looking, or summon an arrow with set critical, power, punch and pierce values. Crafting the wand uses a nether star with two sticks on top, and the mod includes an in-game guide book crafted with magenta dye that lists sample commands.
Editing a spell takes a sneak right-click on the wand to open the editor, and a right-click casts the finished spell. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Builds target 1.20.4 only, and the latest Fabric file is 0.3.1-1.20.4 from the beta channel, released on 2024-04-20. The source code is public under the MIT License, and the mod is open source.
Installation needs Fabric API, Lavender and oωo (owo-lib). Magical Programming is published only for Fabric, so Forge and NeoForge setups are not covered.
