Lingua Mundi

by HumbleDwamak

Lingua Mundi lets players write their own spells by arranging glyphs into stack-based programs that run when a casting item is used.

What it does

Spells are built from more than 150 computational glyphs that set their behaviour, and players gain glyphs as they progress. Stack-based spellcasting, inspired by Hexcasting, gives the system close to complete freedom, and the mod includes over 60 spell effects to build on. Patchouli is required, and the mod runs on Forge and NeoForge.

Casting items come in over 700 variants of staffs, gems, rods and caps, and 21 gem upgrades let players fine-tune stats and appearance. The mod is designed for multiplayer survival, so balance and creative play with friends both fit into the same world. Both loaders carry files for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, with the latest Forge build 1.1.3 for 1.20.1 and the latest NeoForge build 1.1.4 for 1.21.1. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The code is released under All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
