What it does

Dried corn, wheat or barley is the first step in the chain. A drying silo built as a 2x2 or 3x3 grid, extendable to a height of 9, takes those grains through a hatch that the player opens by hand. A larger silo holds more and dries faster. The dried grains and hops then feed a brewing station, where a kettle, a furnace and their parts are used to brew beer or whiskey.

The brewing process runs for several seconds and needs attention, since the furnace loses heat and needs more coal, and the kettle can overheat and need water drained. Hops grow on farmland under a rope strung between two fence posts. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt under a custom license that is not open source. It needs Architectury API and [Let's Do] API on every loader, and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files cover 1.20.1 only, with 1.1.9 as the latest file.

Key features

  1. Drying silo

A stackable silo dries corn, wheat and barley, with capacity and speed growing as the silo gets taller.

  2. Brewing station

A multi-part kettle with a stove brews beer and whiskey from grains, hops, water and coal.

  3. Brewing events

Heat loss in the furnace and overheating in the kettle occur during brewing and call for player action.

  4. Oktoberfest blocks and food

Building blocks, food blocks and decorative elements share a Bavarian festival style.
