Leash Fences lets players connect fence posts with leads, so a leash can run between fences and carry entities along a line.

What it does

Leads can be attached from one fence to another, which makes it possible to build power lines and similar runs out of fences. Holding a lead and sneaking while right-clicking a fence post attaches the leash to that post, so the next post is linked to it. Server owners install the mod on the server, and players only need it if they want to join with the optional client side. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with files for 26.3 and a 1.21.6 – 26.3 range, under the MIT License and open source.

What the author says

There's currently a minecraft bug (since 1.21.6) where the leash breaks if its stretched over a chunk border and a player dies within the chunk of the leashed entity (which is at the fence post you first connected the leash to)
