KrabNet
by TheEnderCore
KrabNet is a Fabric mod of random fun additions, centered on confetti particles, Party Poppers and a throwable confetti bomb.
What it does
The mod adds a set of unrelated playful items and effects, and confetti is the common thread. Confetti particles can be spawned in the world, Party Poppers release them when used, and Confetti Bombs are thrown to scatter them. The new particle is not always turned toward the camera, which gives it a tumbling look in the game.
An un-craftable item lets a player remotely deploy confetti at any spot they choose by right-clicking it, and it behaves like dyed leather armor when it is colored. Because the mod is client and server, both the server and every player need it for the features to work together. KrabNet requires Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin, so both must be installed next to it. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.21 and 1.21.1, with 1.0.0.alpha.2 for 1.21.1 as the latest build.
Key features

A popper item releases a burst of confetti when it is used, for celebrations in the world.

A throwable bomb sends confetti into the air where it lands, with a playful name for the effect.
Remote confetti deployer
An un-craftable item spawns confetti where the player points it, and can be colored like leather armor.

Use cases
Celebrations on a server
Players who want decorative confetti for events can deploy it with the poppers, bombs or the deployer item.
Map and build decoration
The confetti particles add motion to scenes, since they do not all face the camera.
Who it’s for: Players who want playful, unrelated extras in a Fabric world, and server owners who run events where confetti fits.
How it compares
Confetti Stuff is a Fabric mod for 1.21 – 1.21.1, released under the MIT License and open source, with client and server environment, so it covers the same version range as KrabNet. Confetti Cannon is also Fabric, client and server and MIT licensed, but it is built only for 1.21.8, so it does not match the 1.21.1 files of KrabNet. Bombastic is a Fabric mod for 1.21 – 1.21.1 under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, also client and server and open source.
