Bombastic
Bombastic is a Fabric mod that adds explosive items such as pipe bombs, firecrackers and a confetti cannon to the vanilla game.
What it does
Pipe bombs, party poppers, confetti cannons and firecrackers form the core of the mod, and each one is meant to make an otherwise ordinary world more dangerous and more playful. The items fit a carnival theme, so players tend to use them in bursts of chaos rather than in steady, practical ways. The mod was made for the Modfest event and has been updated since it was first published in June 2024.
Bombastic runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files exist for 1.21 and 1.21.1 on Fabric only, with the latest file, 1.1.1-SNAPSHOT3 for 1.21.1, dated 2024-12-16 on the alpha channel. The mod is released under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 and is open source, with public links to its source code and issue tracker.
