Abysm
Abysm lets players descend through an ocean that grows deeper over time, with new content added as the depths open up.
What it does
Oceans in Minecraft have a bottom that players can reach, but Abysm pushes the depths further, toward an abyss that appears to have no floor. The mod is about curiosity: something stirs in the depths, and descending farther is the main activity it encourages. New ideas are added to the ocean one biome at a time, so the water changes as players go deeper.
Abysm is a world generation and adventure mod with mob, decoration and equipment content as well. It requires Biolith, Fabric API and Geckolib, and runs on Fabric and Quilt. Client and server both need it, so the server and every player install the mod. Files are published for 1.21.5 only, under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, and the source code is public. Abysm is open source.
