Just Spawn Me There
by JustS-js
With Just Spawn Me There installed, a player's respawn point can be placed in a chosen region of the world instead of at the vanilla bed or world spawn.
What it does
The mod rewrites the logic behind vanilla respawning, so players who die can be sent to a spawn region defined on the server rather than only to their bed or the world spawn. The region is set with three coordinates, a float radius argument and a non-negative integer argument that controls the direction a player faces on respawn. A value of 0 places players at the exact location given by the setworldspawn command.
When a region is in use, the server looks for a safe respawn location inside it and falls back to the vanilla behaviour if none is found. Unsuccessful attempts are written to the server console, which helps administrators see why a respawn did not land where expected. The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing anything, while the server needs it. It requires Fabric API and is released under the CC0 1.0 Universal license.
Files are published for Fabric only, across 20 release versions 1.19 – 1.21.8, and the latest file is 2.0 for 1.21.8, published 2025-09-04. The source code and issue tracker are public.

Custom respawn region
Respawns are placed in a region defined by three coordinates and a radius, instead of the bed or world spawn.
Facing direction on respawn
A non-negative integer argument sets the direction a player looks after respawning.
Safe location search
The server looks for a safe spot inside the chosen region and uses vanilla behaviour when it finds none.

Hardcore Respawn is a client and server mod for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 1.19.2 – 1.21.1, under the MIT License, and it changes respawn rules rather than placing them. Respawn Timeout is open source under the MIT License, works on client and server, and is published for Fabric for 1.19.4 – 1.21.4.
