Inline Tooltips

Inline Tooltips replaces the vanilla item tooltips with a version that shows attributes, durability and fuel values as compact styled icons, so players see more without a longer tooltip.
What it does
Tooltips change only on the client, so a player can install the mod alone and servers do not need it. The mod targets Fabric and NeoForge, and Fabric API must be installed beside it on Fabric. Files cover 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.9, 1.21.10, 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3, with the latest Fabric file for 26.3 and the latest NeoForge file for 26.1.2, both dated 2026-09-16.
Most tooltips gain styled icons for information the vanilla text leaves out. Holding Shift shows the vanilla tooltip again. The mod's concept was inspired by Inspecio Tooltip Icons, and it reuses the sharpness detection and correction approach from Sharper Tooltips, which is released under the MIT License. Forge users can run it through Sinytra Connector. Settings are available when McQoy is installed, and Reliable Recipe Viewer is an optional dependency.

Attribute icons
Attack damage, attack speed and armor toughness are shown with their own icons inside the tooltip.
Durability and fuel values
Durability and fuel information appears in styled lines that take little extra space.
Vanilla text on Shift
Holding Shift swaps the enhanced tooltip for the original vanilla text, so the default view stays available.
Sharpness correction
The mod detects and corrects the sharpness value shown on weapons, so the displayed damage matches the actual figure.

Effect Insights is open source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, runs client-side only and covers Fabric, Forge and NeoForge for 1.18.2 – 26.3. OldTooltips is open source under the MIT License and is published for Fabric 1.21.1 only.
