Infinite Fluid Bucket
by phoupraw
Infinite Fluid Bucket lets a player enchant buckets, glass bottles and water potions with infinity, so the fluid inside them never runs out.
What it does
An enchanted water bucket keeps providing water as it is placed, and an enchanted milk bucket can be drunk from without limit. Glass bottles and buckets carrying infinity can be emptied repeatedly, and an enchanted water potion works as an endless water source. Cauldrons can be filled and water dispensers can be placed without consuming the source item.
Enchanting is handled through the enchanting table and the anvil, and the infinity enchantment can be applied to buckets through either. The mod has a profile option for enchanting buckets, and a config file, editable with Mod Menu, lets each item be switched on or off separately. Fabric API is required, and Mod Menu is optional.
Key features
Infinite water placement
Water placed from an infinity-enchanted water bucket is not used up, so a player can build with endless water.
Infinite cauldron filling
Cauldrons can be filled again and again from an enchanted bucket without the bucket running dry.
Enchanted fluid items
Milk buckets, water potions and glass bottles can carry infinity, so their contents can be used repeatedly.
Per-item config toggles
Each item can be turned on or off in the config file, which Mod Menu can open for editing.

How it compares
Fill My Cauldron is a Fabric mod for 1.21 – 26.2 that is server-side only and open source under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, so it changes only server behavior. Basic Fluid Hopper is open source under the MIT License, works on Fabric and NeoForge for 1.19.2 – 1.21.5, and needs both the client and the server. InfiniteLava4Fabric is server-side only and covers 1.20.1 – 1.21.1, but it is not open source.
