AE2Fix is a NeoForge server-side utility that adjusts several Applied Energistics 2 behaviors, such as sorting, pattern providers and crystal fixing.
What it does
Applied Energistics 2 is required, and Extended AE is optional. AE2Fix changes how some of the Applied Energistics 2 mechanics behave on the server, and the environment is server-side only, so players join without installing it. Builds cover 1.21 and 1.21.1, with 0.6.0 for 1.21.1 as the latest file, released on 2025-01-21 under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 and not open source.
Its changes touch parts of the automation network: sorting follows a different rule, pattern providers can push crafting ingredients when the inventory holds anything usable, and the crystal fixer completes its work in one tick at four times the energy cost. Some quality changes also tie into Extended AE when that mod is present. Because the mod only runs on the server, a server owner decides which changes apply to a world.
