Immersive Winds
by Vibzz
Immersive Winds changes how weather looks and feels in a Fabric or NeoForge world, adding wind, swaying plants and particle rain and snow.
What it does
The mod adds a wind system that drives the visual weather. Rain and snow are drawn as particles, rain also produces splash particles where it lands, and grass, plants, lanterns and fire sway with the wind. Players who want a windier look in a survival or exploration world can use it without changing the rest of the game's content.
Fabric API is required on every loader, so it must be installed next to Immersive Winds. Installs on NeoForge also need Sinytra Connector, because all mod files are published for Fabric. Cloth Config API and Mod Menu are optional and add configuration screens. Client and server means both the server and every player need the mod. Files cover 1.19.4 – 26.1.2 under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.0 license.
Key features
Wind system
A wind layer moves weather effects and foliage together, so the scene reacts to the storm.
Particle rain and snow
Precipitation is drawn with particles instead of the default falling textures.
Rain splash particles
Rain that lands on surfaces leaves small splash particles.
Swaying plants and fire
Grass, plants, lanterns and fire move with the wind, and more effects are planned by the author.

Multiplayer servers
Servers that run the mod give every player the same windy weather.
Who it’s for: Players who want more visible weather in their world, and server owners who want it shared by everyone on the server. The mod is aimed at decoration and atmosphere rather than new gameplay.
