Hover Items gives inventory slots a short pop-out animation when the cursor moves over an item, and it can also bounce.

What it does

The animation runs only on the client and touches nothing else. Picking up, dragging and hotkeying items still happen instantly, so the mod adds no delay. It applies in every container, such as chests, shulker boxes and the player inventory. Settings are reached through the in-game mod menu, and the defaults reflect the author's own preferences.

Files are published for Fabric only, with builds covering 1.20 – 26.3 across 24 release versions, and 26.3 as the latest beta file. The code is not open source and is licensed under All rights reserved.
