Custom Glint

With Custom Glint, players replace the enchantment glint on tools and armor with a built-in texture or a custom image file, and the change applies live without a restart.
What it does
Items and armor can share one glint or use separate glints, chosen from built-in textures or custom image files placed in the Custom Glint folder. Changes apply as settings are adjusted, and an option restores the old enchantment glint style. The folder can be opened from the settings screen, and more textures can be dropped into it at any time.
Optional End Gateway and Nether Portal overlays draw a portal-style effect over enchanted gear while the normal glint stays in place. Each overlay has its own strength, background visibility, speed and zoom settings, and each can add a bloom glow that is separate from the regular glint. The bloom is limited to the glint pixels instead of the whole screen.
The mod requires YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL), and a configuration menu mod is needed to open its settings. It runs on Fabric, and the environment is client-side only: players install it, and servers do not need it. Builds exist for 1.21 – 26.3 with 17 release versions, and the latest Fabric file is 26.3 from 2026-10-14. The mod is not open source and is released under All rights reserved.

The effects still work when the Vulkan Mod is used, so custom glints and bloom remain available on that renderer.
