Homing Attack and Boost lets players lock onto a mob midair and strike it, with a boost ability and themed Dash Panel, Dash Ring and Spring blocks.

What it does

Players press Z while airborne to launch a homing attack at the mob they are looking at. Damage increases with stronger armor. The mod is a fan-made work unaffiliated with Sega, and its concepts and sounds belong to Sega. Client and server both need it, so every player on a server must install it as well. Architectury API, Cloth Config API, Fzzy Config and playerAnimator are required, and Fabric API is needed on Fabric. Files cover 1.20.1 – 1.20.2 and are open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only.

  1. Midair homing attack

    Pressing Z in the air sends the player toward the mob in view, modeled on Sonic's homing attack.

  2. Armor-scaled damage

    The strength of a homing attack grows with the armor the player wears.

  3. Dash blocks

    Dash Panel, Dash Ring and Spring blocks launch the player along their direction when walked over or touched.
