HologramMod
With HologramMod, server owners place floating text, item, block and live leaderboard holograms anywhere in the world.
What it does
HologramMod creates holograms that show text, blocks, items and live scoreboards, and each hologram can be made clickable so that a click runs a command for the player, from the console, or with the hologram clicked. Holograms are placed and edited in-game, and everything they store is saved automatically to YAML files, with commands that reload without a restart. Holograms are not written into the world save, so no extra copy is kept; unloaded chunks leave their holograms alone until the chunk loads again.
The mod is a server-side Fabric mod, so players do not need to install anything. Text holograms only re-send the lines that changed, which means updated holograms are not re-sent to every player. Fabric API is required, and the optional Chat Mod and LuckPerms can be added. Files are published for Fabric only, across five release versions, 26.1 – 26.3, under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.
Key features
Four hologram types
Holograms can show a text line, a block, an item or a live scoreboard leaderboard.
Clickable holograms
A hologram can run a command when clicked, and player heads can carry per-player placeholders that are clickable too.
Rich hologram formatting
Lines support colours, hex codes, hover text, click events and atlas sprites, with per-line formatting and stacking from the top down.
Display controls
Billboard mode, alignment, scale up to 200, brightness from 0 to 15, transparency, shadow, line width, opacity, background colour, view range and rotation on yaw, pitch and roll can all be set.

How it compares
NoMoreHolograms is a client-side only Fabric mod for 1.20.4, released under All rights reserved, so it runs without any server install. HoloFrames is a client and server Fabric mod for 1.21.5, also under All rights reserved and not open source. Cobblemon Leaderboards is a client and server mod for 1.21.1 on Fabric and NeoForge, and it is not open source either. HologramMod differs from these by running on the server alone, with no client install needed.
