HexIntent
by Almanac
HexIntent is a Fabric add-on for Hex Casting that lets players shape spells through menus, portal-style thresholds and equation-driven particle clouds.
What it does
The mod began as a menu system for Hex Casting that takes a player's intent as input and turns it into hexes. Over time it grew into a set of physical and visual additions to the Hex Casting world: spell circles, new staffs and particle effects that show a caster's intent through menus and visuals. The name comes from that original goal of influencing hexes.
Manifest Menus creates menus through hexes, so hexes can be changed dynamically. Manifest Threshold joins two points into one space, and crossing the threshold moves a player between locations instantly. Independent casters can be summoned, and large world loads are split across several ticks. Equation Hex Cloud draws large multi-point particle clouds whose animations follow mathematical equations, and Equation Synthesizer creates Equation Iotas from a set of built-in presets. Hex Reliquary stores up to five patterns in one item, and a blank focus copied from a pattern-store slot takes on that pattern. Charming Intent gives Hexical charmed items new sounds when cast.
HexIntent is released under the MIT License and is open source. The mod runs on Fabric for 1.20.1 only, and both the server and every player need it, since the environment is client and server. Required dependencies are Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin, Hex Casting and MoreIotas. Hexical is optional, and the mod's Charming Intent feature requires the latest Hexical.

What the author says

That's where the mod got its name. Over time I added more features, and I began to realise what it is I was wanting to add to Hex…
