HerdsPanic

by Globox1997

Animals that stand near a struck member of their herd start to flee as well, which HerdsPanic introduces into Minecraft.

FabricClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.19.2 – 26.3

What it does

When an animal in a herd is hit, the animals around it begin to panic and run, so a herd reacts as a group instead of one animal at a time. The change is aimed at making animal behavior feel a little more lifelike.

Key features

  1. Herd panic

When one animal in a herd takes damage, nearby members of the herd start to panic too.

  2. Group reaction

Animals such as cows react together, so a single hit spreads through the whole group.

  3. Client and server install

The mod runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it, with Cloth Config API and Fabric API installed beside it.

What the author says

HerdsPanic is a simple mod which gives minecraft animals just a little bit more realism;) Herds like a bunch of cows just panic when one of them gets hit. This mod is developed for Fabric. There are no plans to develop a Forge version.
