Hammers and Smithing

Hammers and Smithing reworks how smithing works, so that crafting and upgrading gear depends on a hammer and on a new set of smithing recipes.
What it does
Hammers and Smithing modifies smithing and adds a new smithing recipe type that requires a hammer. Newly crafted items start at low quality, and a low quality item has a high chance of carrying up to four debuffs. Repairing at a smithing table removes those low quality debuffs. The recipes do not use templates. Copper, iron, golden and diamond hammers each upgrade the matching material, and the added master tools, with 21 maximum durability, work like a tier 5 netherite hammer and can be found in dungeon chests.
The mod runs on the client and on the server, so both need it, and it requires Cloth Config API and Crafting Manipulator. The config file is accessed through Mod Menu. Smithing recipes require a hammer and a smithing table with a hammer, so other mods that add smithing recipes will not work with them unless compatibility is added. The mod is incompatible with some mods. Installing it on Sinytra Connector is required for Fabric setups that use that layer. Files exist for 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.2, 1.21 and 1.21.1, with 6.1.1 for 1.21.1 as the latest file.
