Unremovable Effects

by Xires87

Unremovable Effects keeps selected status effects from being cleared, so a player who takes them cannot shake them off with a milk bucket.

FabricServer-side onlyMIT LicenseOpen source1.20 – 1.21.1

What it does

Selected status effects become unremovable: a milk bucket no longer clears them. Items can be set up to remove those effects on purpose, which lets a server decide where and how they can be cleared. The mod is a simple library and makes no other changes to status effects. Files for Fabric cover game versions 1.20 – 1.21.1, and the mod is server-side only, so players join without installing it. It is released under the MIT License and is open source. Haemorrhage and Scrolls and Curses require it.

Key features

  1. Unremovable effects

Chosen status effects stay active after a player drinks milk, so milk cannot be used to cure them.

  2. Effect removal items

Specific items can be configured to remove the selected status effects, giving a defined way to cure them.

  3. Compatible with Milk Bottle Hot Cocoa

The mod works alongside the Farmer's Delight Milk Bottle Hot Cocoa item without conflicts.
