Guns Without Roses
by Lykrast
Guns Without Roses adds a set of simple, Terraria-like guns, each paired with its own bullet type, for Forge and NeoForge.
What it does
Six firearms are included, starting with the Iron Gun for the opening hours and ending with the Diamond Gatling, a weapon that produces a continuous stream of bullets and steady damage. The Gold Gun is less durable but more enchantable, and the Blaze Gun deals higher damage and turns Iron Bullets into Blaze Bullets for free.
Seven bullet types go with the guns: Flint Bullets are low damage early game ammunition, Iron Bullets deal more damage at a higher cost, and Blaze Bullets set enemies ablaze. Explosive Bullets damage an area and can hit even when they miss the target, Amethyst Bullets pierce through enemies, Prismarine Bullets are slowed or stopped by water, and Chorus Fruit Bullets randomly teleport the target away. The mod also adds a Bullet Bag, whose guns fire whatever is stored inside.
The mod is a simple vanilla-plus foundation for other mods to build on, with a few guns, several ammo types and five enchantments: Impact increases damage, Bullseye increases accuracy and Sleight Hand increases fire rate. It is published for Forge and NeoForge, with builds covering 1.16.5 – 1.20.1, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need it. The code is not open source and the license is All rights reserved.

What the author says
This mod adds a few simple Terraria-like guns, several ammo types to go with them, and a few enchantments. It is meant as a simple vanilla+ish mod and a foundation for other (upcoming) mods to use its systems, and not as a big, fully fledged content mod. It also does not add roses of any kind. Guns fire instantly…
