by Patbox

Gone Fishing! is a Fabric fishing enhancement mod by Patbox that adds new fish, rods, trinkets and loot to the fishing activity.

FabricServer-side onlyMIT LicenseOpen source1.21.5 – 26.3

What it does

Fish variants and themed aquatic creatures can be found in specific biomes while fishing, and rare loot crates reward players who keep at it. Fishing also works differently in the Nether and the End, where dimension-specific mechanics apply. The mod requires Polymer, and it runs on the server alone, so players join without installing it. Its files cover 1.21.5 – 26.3 and it is open source under the MIT License.

Key features

  1. New fish variants

Themed aquatic creatures appear in biomes, so the catch depends on where the player fishes.

  2. Rods and trinkets

New fishing rods and fishing trinkets change how the activity plays out.

  3. Aquatic food and loot crates

Creative food uses aquatic ingredients, and rare loot crates hold exciting rewards.
