Chef's Delight - Farmer's Delight Villagers
With Chef's Delight installed, villages can have villagers who take up the Chef and Cook professions, adding food trades to a food-focused world.
What it does
The mod gives villagers two new professions. A villager becomes a Cook after a Skillet is used on them, and that Cook trades simpler foods. A villager becomes a Chef after a Cooking Pot is used on them, and that Chef trades more advanced dishes. Structures for both professions generate in villages, with Chef houses in savanna biomes and Cook houses in snowy biomes.
Chef's Delight depends on a food add-on base that must be present on Forge and Fabric alike, and a later update of this mod needs a newer build of that base. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and it is released under the MIT License but is not open source. Files cover 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.21, 1.21.1, 1.21.5, 1.21.8, 1.21.10, 1.21.11 and 26.2.
Structure generation is set so the houses do not appear in every village. Other mods that add village structures may compete with it, and the generation number in the config file can be raised. The config also sets the chance per biome, and a value of 0 turns generation off.
