Glissando
by axialeaa
Glissando changes how note blocks respond to clicks, so players can tune pitch from a dedicated screen instead of cycling one step at a time.
What it does
Tuning a note block in vanilla Minecraft takes repeated clicks through each pitch. Glissando replaces that with a customizable interface where a note can be set in a few clicks. The author describes the project as an attempt to fix issues with the way note blocks work, aiming at music-making that is more comfortable to do in the game.
A small button shaped like a miniature keyboard, with a gear in one corner, opens the mod's settings from inside the interface itself. The same screen can also be reached through Mod Menu, which is optional. Glissando depends on Fabric API and on YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) for that screen. The mod is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later, is published for Fabric only, and builds cover 1.20 – 1.21.4 with 11 release versions. Snapshot builds are not mentioned. Client and server: both the server and every player need it.

Use cases
Composing with note blocks
Players who build songs from note blocks can set pitches faster than with the vanilla click cycle.
Server music setups
Server owners can run note-block music builds on a server where the mod is installed on both sides.
Who it’s for: Players and server owners who build music with note blocks, and anyone who wants a faster way to set pitch in the game. Players need the mod, and so does the server.

What the author says
Glissando is a Fabric mod that attempts to fix what I personally believe to be some severe issues when it comes to the way note blocks work, allowing music-making to be more comfortable and satisfying than ever before! Glissando's highly-customizable GUI fits right into this mod's goal: as few clicks as possible…
