With Glass Carpet installed, glass carpets can be placed on floors in the same way glass panes are, across the vanilla glass family and stained and tinted variants.
What it does
Glass Carpet adds glass carpet blocks in plain, stained and tinted glass. They sit flat on the floor, follow the placement of glass panes, and keep the look of the vanilla glass they are made from. A stained glass pane is shaped slightly differently, so its carpet has its own form rather than a copy of the regular one.
The mod depends on Fabric API and can use Continuity for connected textures. Connected textures are switched on by enabling Continuity's default resource pack, and a separate Glass Carpet resource pack is also available. Because the mod draws its textures from the vanilla glass files, a resource pack that changes glass also changes glass carpets. The server and every player need the mod installed. Files are published for Fabric only, and the latest file, 2.0.1-1.26.3, covers 26.3. The license is a custom license, and the mod is not open source.

Use cases
Flat glass floors
Builders can lay glass carpets over a floor to light a room from below or show a surface without the height of a full block.
Stained glass accents
Stained glass carpets add colored flat tiles to a build, with their shape kept distinct from the stained glass pane.
