Genshin Craft
by hackermdch
Genshin Craft brings the elemental combat of Genshin Impact into Minecraft, with element damage, element infusion and reactions between elements.
What it does
Living entities show a health bar above them and a damage number appears each time one takes damage, so fights report what happened. Items can infuse an element, and attacks using an infused item deal elemental damage. Two elements meeting on a target can set off an elemental reaction, which follows the element system of the source game rather than vanilla combat.
The mod is aimed at players who want Genshin Impact style combat in a Minecraft world, and it can be run on a single-player client or on a multiplayer server. Both the server and every player need it for the mechanics to work the same way for everyone. Optional support for Roughly Enough Items (REI) and the unofficial TaCZ 1.21.1 NeoForge Port is listed, and files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, with 1.21.1 as the newest version. Genshin Craft is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
Key features
Entity health bars
A health bar is drawn above each living entity, making the state of mobs and players visible during a fight.
Damage numbers
Each hit shows its damage as a number over the entity that received it, so the result of every attack is shown.
Elemental infusion
Items can be infused with an element, and a living entity struck by an infused item takes elemental damage.
Elemental reactions
Combining elements on a target triggers reactions in the element system adapted from Genshin Impact.
