FireClient

by DF Tooling

FireClient is a client-side Fabric mod for players on the DiamondFire server, adding play-mode features such as chat tag handling, plot name display and resource pack uploads.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT LicenseOpen source1.20.4 – 1.21.1

What it does

FireClient changes how a player sees and uses DiamondFire play mode from the client. It reverts chat tags to their older style, hides VIP tags from messages sent by the whois command, and can show plot IDs and plot names in the tab list, with that display toggled separately. It also adds custom GUIs and a camera freeze.

The mod needs Cloth Config API, Fabric API and imgui-mc to run, and CodeClient is optional. Servers do not need it; each player installs it for their own game. Files exist for 1.20.4 and 1.21.1, with 1.4.1 for 1.21.1 as the latest Fabric file, and the code is open source under the MIT License.

Key features

  1. Chat tag reversion

Chat tags can be shown in their older style instead of the current format used on the server.

  2. VIP tag removal

VIP tags are removed from messages shown through the whois command, keeping those lines plainer.

  3. Plot ID and name tab list

Plot IDs and names can appear in the tab list, and this display can be switched on or off separately.

  4. Resource pack uploads

Packs in the resource pack folder can be uploaded to the plot's web server, which hosts the plot resource pack.
