Enhanced World Creation
by BizCub
Enhanced World Creation adds settings to the world creation screen, so players can save their preferred defaults and reuse them for new worlds.
What it does
The mod expands the world creation screen with extra settings that change the default parameters a new world starts with. Once a set of settings is saved, it can be applied the next time a world is created, which cuts down the time spent configuring each new world. A new button appears during world creation and opens a screen where a built-in resource pack can be added to the world; that pack is applied automatically to the player when they enter the world.
Fabric API is required on every loader the mod is published for, and Cloth Config API, Mod Menu and Simple Config Lib are optional companions. Enhanced World Creation runs on the client alone, so servers do not need it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 31 release versions, and snapshot builds are published as well. The code is open source under the MIT License.

Use cases

Who it’s for: Players who create many worlds for testing, playthroughs or themed builds, and players who want a built-in resource pack applied to a new world without extra steps.
How it compares
World Border is a server-side only mod with All rights reserved licensing, published for 1.16.5 – 26.3, so it limits the playable area on a server and is not open source. Enhanced Pots is a mod is needed on the server, with the client optional, under the MIT License, published for 1.21 – 1.21.1, and it targets potions rather than world creation.
