[ARCHIVED] Enhanced Progression
by Rebel459
[ARCHIVED] Enhanced Progression slows early-game access to iron and diamonds, and it runs on the server alone.
What it does
The mod was a Fabric server mod for Minecraft 1.19.2. Its author has discontinued it, and earlier it was used as a custom version inside the Enhanced Legacy modpack. Its changes add more in-depth early-game steps: smelting ores into nuggets in a regular furnace, using the Stone Age datapack system, and requiring stone for stone tools instead of cobblestone.
The package depends on Additional Additions: Vanilla+ QoL, Sniffers, Music, Food, Diamond Nuggets and Oxidized, and each of them must be installed beside it. Only the Fabric build for 1.19.2 exists, published 2023-05-06 as 1.3.1+mod, and the license is All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
Key features
Nuggets from furnaces
Ores are smelted into nuggets in a regular furnace where possible, which slows the early game until a blast furnace is available.
Craftable chainmail chains
Three iron nuggets make a chain, and chains craft chainmail armour, giving a tier between leather and iron.
Gold and copper alloy
A rose gold alloy is made from gold and copper, and it can upgrade iron gear through the armour smithing table.
Nuggets from diamond ore
Mining diamond ore without Silk Touch yields a handful of nuggets, so diamonds become harder to gather and spread into mid and late game.

Use cases
Slower early-game progression
Server owners use the mod to delay direct access to iron and diamonds across several tiers.
Who it’s for: Server owners who run the Enhanced Legacy modpack or want a stepped early-game tier system on Fabric for 1.19.2.
How it compares
Better Armour Progression is a Fabric mod that works on the server alone, under All rights reserved, published for 1.21.1 – 26.1.2, so it does not cover 1.19.2. Craftable Chainmail Armor is Fabric-only for 1.21.1 and needs both client and server. Enhanced Equipment works on either side, and neither needs it; it targets 1.19 – 1.19.2 on Fabric and Forge, under the MIT License.
