Enchantments Expansion
by lullaby
Enchantments Expansion adds new enchantments for weapons, armor, tools and bows, which players obtain through the enchanting table, loot chests and villager trading.
What it does
The enchantments extend the vanilla set across combat, mining, movement and utility, including Life Steal III, Withering II, Attack Speed III, Gravity II and a Thunder Strike III enchantment for maces. Each one is meant to slot into existing enchantment progression rather than replace it, and the mod's own notes say they are designed around vanilla balance.
Veinminer and Timber are among the mining and tree-felling effects, and they only work on vanilla blocks, so modded blocks are not affected. A configurable Despawn Timer is included as well. Only the server needs the mod: players may add it, but clients can connect without it. It is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later, and it is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with a Data pack option for server platforms, across 9 release versions, 1.21 – 26.2.
Key features
Combat enchantments
Life Steal III, Withering II, Attack Speed III and Gravity II add new effects to melee and ranged combat.
Mace enchantment
Thunder Strike III applies to maces and adds a strike effect that fits the mace's fall-damage playstyle.
Mining and utility
Veinminer and Timber extend mining and tree felling, and they only trigger on vanilla blocks.
Configurable despawn timer
A despawn timer can be adjusted in the configuration, letting server owners change how long items stay on the ground.

How it compares
More Spear Enchantments is client and server and open source under the MIT License, with files for 1.21.11 – 26.2, so it must be installed on both sides. Mace Protection is open source under the MIT License, published for 1.21.6 – 26.3, and works on the server while players may skip it, covering protection for maces rather than a broad set. Unlimited Enchantments is not open source, published for 1.21.9 – 26.3, and works on the server with players free to leave it out.
