Enchanted Vertical Slabs
Enchanted Vertical Slabs adds vertical slab variants of vanilla blocks, and a player who builds stairs-and-slabs walls can use them in place of full blocks.
What it does
Vertical slabs take up half of a block's width, so they fit corners, walls and trim where a standard slab would not. The mod follows the look and recipes of vanilla blocks and keeps the work simple: nothing new is needed to craft or place them, and survival builders see familiar materials.
The mod adds these blocks in the same vanilla style, so a build that already uses vanilla slabs and stairs can mix them in directly. Fabric API is required, and the mod is available for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt across 33 release versions, 1.17 – 26.2, under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial 4.0 license.
A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. It is not open source, but public links to the source code and issue tracker are provided. Snapshot builds are published, and the latest Fabric and NeoForge files are 2.7.0 for 26.2, dated 2026-07-22.
