Enchant Unbinder
by gublack
Enchant Unbinder lets a player pull one enchantment off a tool, armor piece or enchanted book with an Unbinding Table, leaving the rest in place.
What it does
The Unbinding Table takes an enchanted item in its upper slot and normal books in its lower slot. The player selects the single enchantment to extract, pays the XP levels it costs, and the chosen enchantment is moved onto a new Enchanted Book while every other enchantment stays on the original item. Tools, weapons, armor and enchanted books can all be processed, and the mod also handles enchantment levels above the vanilla limit and enchantments from other mods that use Minecraft's enchantment system.
The table includes a built-in guide and an animated floating-book interface. Curses can be extracted too, at a higher cost of 10 XP levels, which is the only way the mod differs from many disenchanting systems that leave curses behind. Enchant Unbinder runs on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, needs Fabric API on Fabric, and must be installed on both the client and the server. Files are published for 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.4, 1.21.8, 1.21.11, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3, with 1.0.1 as the latest release, and the code is under All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
Key features
Single-enchantment extraction
Each enchantment can be removed on its own, so a sword keeps its other enchantments after one is moved away.
Priced by level
Extraction costs 1 to 5 XP levels by enchantment level, and curses cost 10.
Vanilla and modded enchantments
Enchantments above the vanilla level cap and those added by other mods can be extracted through the table.
Animated table interface
A floating-book screen shows the enchantment choices and includes a built-in guide to the steps.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Survival and modded players who enchant heavily and want to reuse single enchantments. Server owners who want enchantment management under their control, given that the mod must be installed on both sides.

Easy Disenchanting is a client and server mod for 1.20 – 1.21.5 under a custom license. Dis-Enchanting Table is also client and server, covers 1.20 – 26.1.2 and is under All rights reserved. EnchantOnce is server-side only and runs on Forge and NeoForge across 1.20.1 – 26.3 with a custom license, so players can join without installing it.
