Eidolon:Repraised is an unofficial port of the Eidolon magic mod to Forge and NeoForge, with alchemy, rituals, necromancy and altars drawn from the original design.
What it does
Players craft the Ars Ecclesia to begin. From there, a brazier runs rituals fueled by soul shards, an altar takes prayers and sacrifices to the dark or light lord, and a crucible handles alchemy, with a workbench for magic items. The dark path is the main route, and a light cleric path was added with the 0.3 update. Silver armor and tools join the earlier lead ore generation, and ravens and slugs can be tamed and bred with seeds.
The mod is client and server, so the server and every player need it. Curios API is required, and Apotheosis is an optional companion. Files cover 1.19.2, 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.2, 1.21 and 1.21.1, with Forge builds for 1.20.1 and NeoForge builds for 1.21.1. Eidolon:Edoni requires this mod. The code is under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is open source, with a public source repository and issue tracker.
Key features
Ravens and slugs
Ravens can be tamed with beetroot seeds and can shed feathers, while slugs breed from pumpkin seeds.
Summoning staff and thralls
A summoning staff, used with a capturing ritual or the thrall spell, brings undead under the player's control.
Ethereal hearts
The soulbone amulet and bonelord armor add maximum health each time an enemy is killed, though the armor set is not craftable.
Raven cloak and archangel ring
A raven cloak allows multiple jumps, gliding and slow falling, and an archangel sight ring guides arrows toward targets.
Necromancer raid boss
A necromancer appears in the final waves of a raid, summons undead and fires magic projectiles, and drops the summoning staff.
