Effect Enchantment
Effect Enchantment lets players put potion effects such as speed and regeneration onto weapons and armor as enchantments.
What it does
Effect Enchantment turns potion effects into enchantments that can be applied to weapons and armor. Players can give their gear effects like speed, regeneration and more, which changes how they approach combat, survival and exploration. The mod is built around control over the effects a player chooses rather than relying on fixed item stats.
Installation runs on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and it must be present on both the client and the server. Fabric API is optional on Fabric. Files cover 23 release versions 1.14 – 1.21.9, and the mod is released under the MIT License, so it is not open source. Its first file was published on 2025-05-01 and it was last updated on 2025-10-23.
Key features
Effects as enchantments
Potion effects become enchantments that can be placed on weapons and armor through the usual enchanting flow.
Combat and survival effects
Enchanted gear can carry effects such as speed and regeneration, giving players choices for combat and survival builds.
Weapon and armor support
The enchantments work on both weapons and armor, so the same effect system covers attack and defense equipment.
