Seed Packages lets players seal loose crop seeds into compact bundles that take up far less inventory space, and plant directly from them.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverMIT License1.20.1 – 1.21.4

What it does

Loose seeds from vanilla Minecraft and from other mods can be stored as a single compact item, which keeps a crowded inventory tidy. Sealed packages stay organized and remain ready to plant whenever they are needed. A large automated farm or a small garden can both use the same storage approach.

The mod is built for Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.2, 1.21.3 and 1.21.4. Both the server and every player need it, because packages are created and opened on each side. The optional IONite Powered dependency is named in the catalog listing, and the code is under the MIT License, though the project is not open source.

Key features

  1. Sealed seed packages

Loose seeds are sealed into one compact item, which replaces a stack of many separate entries.

  2. Planting from packages

A package can be used to plant its seeds directly, without first unpacking them into the inventory.

  3. Crop coverage

Seeds from vanilla crops and compatible mods can be packed, so one storage method covers many crop types.

  4. Support for several versions

Forge and NeoForge builds are published for 1.20.1 and for each release through 1.21.4.

Use cases

Automated farms

Large farms that produce many seed types can store the harvest in packages instead of filling chests with loose stacks.

Casual gardens

A player with a few crop fields can keep one tidy package per crop, which is easier to find than scattered seeds.

Who it’s for: Players who manage many seed types, and server owners who want fewer loose stacks cluttering shared storage.
